After delivering 8 rounds of the Surrey Autism Champions Training, we are now delivering rounds 9 and 10. These rounds are fully subscribed and consist of seven half day workshops - our most in-depth training offer.
We have now taken over the lead role for The Surrey Autism Friendly Communities project. The aim is make Surrey as autism friendly as possible. We will soon be creating some web pages on this website to tell you more.
We are thrilled to have won the 2024 People’s Choice Award at Surrey County Council's prestigious Stars in Surrey Awards. 10 of our team attended the awards ceremony in Guildford on 3rd December 2024.
We have worked with Waverley Borough Council to develop some easy-to-read information about joining the housing register and bidding for homes. We are now working with Runntmede and Waverley Borough Council to develop a Tenants Handbook.
We have been working closely with prison services and prisoners to provide training for prison staff and information for prisoners who may be autistic or neurodivergent.
We are working in partnership with The Light in Redhill to support a fortnightly Monday evening group for autistic and neurodivergent adults. The Light provide us with a base room where we do board games and quizzes, and people also book other activities The Light offer.
